This Christmas light decoration system can be controlled by the Internet. It can be performed by beginner because the construction is rather easy and not complicated.
The project is based on an old computer with Windows XP and LPT, relay card and corresponding PHP script. In addition, there is a camera mounted outside the house, which is connected about 30m long telephone twisted-pair to DVR card, and the card is connected to the laptop. Both the computer and laptop can be placed for example in the basement. They have to be in ventilated and closed room.
