i want implementation idea of digital sigma delta modulator in DAC,this block is digital.i m taking 24 bit sigma delta modulator and 4 bit truncator but i dont understand how to take 24 bit sin signal in electric software......plz tell me suggestion.....:-?

If I understand your question correctly, you need a digital input to your DAC to test it? If this is correct, you code in VerilogA an ideal ADC with 24bit resolution and then you have your test input for your DAC.

Hope this helps,

i hv designed sigma delta modulator in DAC using mosfets means cmos design but problem is that i want source of 24bit signal in circuit diagram bcoz i hv designed modulator for audio applications that's why i hv to take sinusoidal signal as a test signal but i dont understand how to do that.............

Look at this diagram. You have an ideal ADC (code it in VerilogA or whatever you like) then you have YOUR designed DAC! Then you put in your sign wave test signal, then you sample it out and take FFT to get resolution!

Thanks for ur help.............
