Hello :

I am running protel DXP DRC. I got lots of warnings. one of them is like:

[Un-Routed Net Constraint Violation]
Net SD1 Warning - Pad/Via touching plane

Does anybody know what is exactly meaning? How can i correct?

Thanks.

House_Cat seems to be used to DXP so perhaps he knows better.

I beleive a bug exists in the DXP software which causes an error when vias are on the edge of a defined plane. in some cases a via intended to join to the plane will be reported as a broken connection and in others a signal via will be shorted.

Have you tried to relocate the vias so they are not on a plane boundary line?

Just a guess.
