Presented here design is a frequency meter based on kit AVT 2269 with minor changes:
- the device uses a more accurate quartz resonator – DS32KHZ (quartz oscillator with temperature compensation TCXO that operates with output signal 32,768kHz
- presentation of measure results is carried out by displays TIL311 controlled by BCD signal, what allowed to resign from two chips 4543 (Decoder BCD to the code of indicator of 7-segment LED), by plugging the displays directly to the 4553 – in this way a little more space in the Hammond housing was gained
One of these pictures presents the frequency measurement at the output of sample system DS32KHZ.
