Load Cell + ADC 0804 +8051 microcontroller

hi to all,

i want to interface the load cell with 8051 microcontroller through the adc 0804


please someone guide me

hello

can you give some spec
Amplitude max of signal ?
use Differantial mode or common mode ?
Nb of sample per second ?

langage C or ASM ?


i suspect than AD0804 has a too poor resolution for that application ( 8 bits -> 255 steps)
or you must use analog ampliifer before the ADC.

ya i did but i got all things using the op amp only,

i dont want to use the amplifier is there any microcontroller or ADC which has lower step size............
 

see ADC like AD7715, MCP3204, 14bits up 18 bits
and analog gain amplifier x1,2,4,8
µcontroller PIC18F46K22 ..
depends of your knowledge ! familly controller, programming langage and tools ..

YOU HAVE to decide by yourself

start the job and maybe you will get further help.
 

Yes, you have to use op-amps for some amplification. or you can use ICs lilke AD620....
usually Microcontrollers come with ADC resolution not more than 12 bits like dsPICs30F6011a,
 

how to use the op-amps could anybody suggest me

please post the full circuit with load sensor and opamp and along with microcontroller.........
