generate&play sin wave in matlab and measure it on soundcard output

Hello!

I have a silly question! :)

If I generate a sin wave with the amplitude of 1V and play it in Matlab, will I see on the soundcard output the same amplitude of 1V (of course using an osciloscop) ?
