In simulink there are built-in blocks as you know. Their parameters are masked and some aren't simple subsystems. I wonder how can we modify them during a simulation is running. For example: A built-in motor model. I want to make one of its parameters change with time. But i can't reach that parameter out of the block. Only i can adjust it by a dialog window before the simulation. So how can we do this?

First you need to make sure whether the parameter that you wish to change during simulation is running is a tunable parameter or not. For example, the parameter in Gain block is a tunable parameter. Also, you need to modify the setting at the "Simulation" -> "Simulation parameters..." -> "Advance" -> Check "Inline parameters" -> "Configure...".

If you can share which built-in motor and which motor that you wish to tune during simulation is running, probably we can find other approach to implement it.

I want to to change induction machine rotor resistance during simulation. It may be a function of something.

The attached RAR includes a Simulink model that shows how to change the block parameter during simulation. You may try to modify the m-file S-function to suit your application. Good luck.
