I made a custom pad which is two half circles as the picture shows.

Custom Pad.JPG.

Each half circle is made with a Solid region and a line and a arc to make the edges smooth (I dont know why in the PCB Library editing I cant design a round custom shape, so the only way I could make it was making a Solid Region with approximations and then covering the approximations with an arc and a line).

When I placed the pad in the PCB the DRC showed lots of violations, but by selecting Design>Net Lists>Update free primitives from component pads most of them disappeared. But the arcs are not being treated as a whole pad, the arcs are being evaluated separately so there is a DRC violation in it's width.

Custom Pad 2.JPG (look the green lines of the DRC in the outside arcs)

I wanted to know if there is a workaround for this issue.
Thanks!

Can you create the half circles using lines and arc's then use Tools --> Convert to convert the lines to a solid region.

I cant see this option in the PCB Library Editor...I am making a new part so I can reuse it in the future

I just googled and apparently my version doesnt have this option because it was latter included...what is yours? Thanks!
