Hi all,

I looking for a controller (VHDL) for a LCD
Monochrome 4 Bits + CL1 + CL2 + FLM etc
A standard LCD. a SP10Q003-T of Hitachi for information.

Best Regards Yodathegreat

make state machine to initialize it, or better use a uProc like uBlaze from xilinx or NIOS from altera :)

those lcd's are simple to use with uProc, but interfacing to FPGA... :sm2:

As far as i know, Altera NIOSII uProcessor has its own LCD interface in SOPC Builder, just try it.
Regards

if you have mastered the information of LCD, i think it is very easy to control it using CPLD.
so, you should firstly understand LCD.
