Dear all,

I have a two-port configuration and I have some questions to ask :
-What is the purpose of the Zsp(i,j) set of parameters?
-Which set of Zparameters gives the mutual resistance between the two ports?

Thanks in advance

hi,z(1,2) and z(2,1) give u the mutual coupling that if the two object are similar, but i suggest to obtain s(1,2) and s(2,1)
regards

Hi abdoeng and thanks for replying.

I am aware that z(1,2) give the mutual coupling between the two ports but in IE3D there are two set of Zparameters : The classical Z(1,2) and Zsp(1,2) (Z for S parameters). I was wondering what is the difference between those two and which of the two sets should I use in order to obtain the mutual resistance!

Thanks anyway!
