[SOLVED] how can i code a latch free if/ case statements for synthesis?

Gud eveng,

I'm getting this error [Xst :737] again and again. It's annoying when i try to do further coding.

Need some tips while writing synthesizable if/ case statements in detail.
 

how about showing the problem code with the actual error. Then we can help you.
 

You need to define all conditions, i.e., you need to have an ELSE statement, or you will generate a latch.
