hello friends... I am currently working on a project in my college in which I need to interface a number of devices with 8051 microcontroller like sensors, lcd, buzzer, gsm module, keypad etc. i couldn't find any good source on net about interfacing other than datasheets of these devices(which i found difficult to interpret:roll:) it would be very helpful if you people could suggest me any good book on 8051 interfacing with these devices. thanks a lot in advance.

I don't use 8051 and don't know of good 8051 books.

However, on the internet, there are loads of projects, tutorials and explanations of interfacing 8051 with different devices. Use Google to search for these.

eg. If you want to search for interfacing LCD with 8051, type in Google "Interfacing LCD with 8051".

Search for "Interfacing keypad with 8051", "Interfacing GSM module with 8051", "Interfacing buzzer with 8051", and so on.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Try on Atmel web, on device page in application section, to see maybe there is some interesting example.

What 8051 uC exactly you plan to use? You know that older 8051 dont have builtin ADC inside, check for newer version of uC.

also check out this site for a step by step guide on lcd interfacing using 8051 MCU...**broken link removed**

For 8051 Mazidi and Mazidi is good book available in different editions also e-book can be found on internet, try google for this book.
