hi
i need to develop a heart beat monitoring system using 89c51 pls help me

Use this for sensing pulse :

https://embedded-lab.com/blog/?p=5508

Output from EasyPulse connect to 3-digit counter circuit with 89C51/C52.

You can replace TCRT1000 with L-53P3C 5mm phototransistor or some other, and MCP6004 can be replaced with LM324D, for TX led I use red 5mm high bright 15000mcd, and all works fine.

This circuit can sense from around 40 to 140 beats per minute, with some minor circuit modifications you can measure up to 170bpm.

For counting pulses with 89C51 :

thanks for ur reply
i m using NSK electronics heart beat sensor
i dont knw how that output pulses are measured in beats?
i m totally confused with the calculation part !!

The cardio possess a system of electrically proactive fibres in it, that are known as the performing system and they are responsible for the cardio overcome. In common sinus beat, the impulse (cardio beat) begins inside the correct side of the top chambers (atria) of the heart within the sinus node (SA Node inside the diagram above). .
