Which microcontroller for gsm and gps based vehicle tracking system?

Hello everyone,

I am doing a project on gps and gsm based vehicle tracking system, where the location of the vehicle is got by gps and the position will be sent to the mobile through gsm. So which microcontroller is best to use for this project?

plz help me out.....
 

Any microcontroller with minimum 4kb of flash with usart will do..

Select the one which you have experience...
 

I have read about 8051 microcontroller as it was in our syllabus but dont have any experience...
