Can anyone suggest an equivalent transistor to this among the 2Ns, TIPs, BCs, BDs and BFs etc

There are plenty of these available in multisim but bugger all 2SCs.

Not an exact match, but the common TIP147 should be usable.

Better suggestions can be made if you described the role of the transistor in the circuit - what it is doing, the voltage and current it must withstand, etc.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Thanks Tahmid mate.

It is just for the purpose of simulating my circuit in Multisim because 2SC3852 is not available in this simulator. So it probably does not matter that much that it is not an exact match. If it is close then it is probably good enough.

I couldn't face sorting though dozens and dozens of datasheets to find a match and figured some one in here is bound to have a better idea of where to look amongst the plethora of available transistors.
