Can some one please explain how compoenets grapihcs can be edited in PCB layout?
I want to increase the line width of silk screen .

thank you.

Right click on the footprint and select decompose, then make the modification and select everything and right click make package.

If you overwrite the original footprint then it will change automatically whenever you use it but I don't recommend it, you can save it to a different library with a different name, then whenever you want to use that version you have to change the component footprint name to the one you have specified.

If you just want to thicken the lines then you can change the line width property, technology -> text style and in the lower left corner of the dialog change the line width property from 8th to a higher value.

Thank you for your explernation. In Orcad, we can select Silk screen layer and do changes to all component at once. Is there such method in Protieus also.?

thks

I'm not aware of what is possible in orcad and I'm not expert in proteus either so I can't really say.
Did you try the with the global line width property?

no it is not possible. Best way may be to edit components and save in a diiffrent folder.
thks
