Hi all,

Good wishes!

I'm seeking for an open source compiler and IDE for ARM CORTEX-M4 processor.I thought of using original ARM compiler and i came across that it is expensive(more than FIVE lakhs). When i went through the internet i found that the flash size the user can use is limited to 32k,if i use an open source compiler. Can't we utilize the full flash memory when use OPEN SOURCE compiler ?

Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated..
thanks in advance

You can certainly utilize the GNU ARM-GCC compiler and the Eclipse IDE for ARM development, there are no compiler limitation as the compiler is GNU Open Source.

Thanks for the feedback.

Is GNU ARM-GCC compiler compatible with WINDOWS OS ? Does it execute more than 32Kb flash ?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm very pleased with the help you did.But i've got one more doubt too. That is,which inexpensive IN-CIRCUIT EMULATOR/DEBUGGER can i use with ECLIPSE ide & GNU ARM-GCC compiler ?

Thanks in advance...
