I have been trying to work with the PIC microcontrollers for a while now. I have realized that in order to build new projects with it I should also have good knowledge of Sensors and signal conditioning circuits.

Please suggest some resources(books, video tutorials, links etc.) to learn about them. Also how can I develop basic circuit designing skills? As an undergrad I have some knowledge(theoretical) of basic analog and digital circuits but when it comes to designing practical I feel paralyzed. Any help in this regard.

I think, in electronics instead of searching so much things; just know capability of your microcontroller and learn a program language's capability than try go advance step by step by projects

You are correct, proper signal conditioning is critical for many sensor based applications.

Analog Devices has recently released many of their texts in PDF format for free download:

Practical Design Techniques for Sensor Signal Conditioning

Fundamentals of Analog to Digital Conversion

Practical Analog Design Techniques

Many of these texts sell for $40 to $80 in printed form.
