pls help me to find vout..
vb =.5v
take any values for u,cox,w/L..etc..
VDD=3v
Vt=.7v

For different values we get different answers and we are not here to argue whose is right here

Vb and Vdd don't match up some thing is still missing for us to guide you further

Better try some books here they will be useful to you

You will get only intelligible answer to this question

What is that is it an NPN and PNP connected in reverse direction or an NMOS AND PMOS connection

one second i did not see that the top fet was a PNP,

this circuit is incomplete, since Vb is a low for the PNP it will output a high voltage, in this case 1.2 Volts.
however if Vin is a low it will act as a ground for the Vout, if Vin is a high the voltage should be 1.2 volts,

so unless my theory is wrong if: Vin > .7 Volts, then Vout = 1.2 volts
Vin < .7 Volts, then Vout = 0.

Even I am not clear about it pal Some people when drawing free hand draw it like that

I may even be wrong

It sounds like this is for school because its such a small circuit so, if the answer is asking for Vout range, then
the vout is based on the Vin values which i gave.

i dnt want 2 knw d exact answr,need 2 knw d steps. 2 fnd vout n then vin
Please don't write at this style because it is really hard to understand .

You must skim through the Rules of the forum it is against a bunch of rules to post contents like this

problem solved.circuit was incomplete..sorry

but at least u guys could have given me advice about small signal analysis :cry:

I hope nobody will answer to this attempt for writing something.
oh really :???: i couldn't figured it out,it was a doubt asked by my friend.and i thought u guys will help me to get this stuff solved.

nmos transistor was supposed to be connected in the back side of the pmos which will give the current mirror pattern
