Through-wall imaging on a robot

Yes it's open source, but it is discontinued because we did not get enough interest in the project. We used a radar chip from Novelda (www.novelda.no) which is really good for this sort of project. You can contact them for more info.

How can you buy that chip? i found and lerned novelda chip last day but i didn't find who buying that. (chip or development kit) Espicially Novelda looking just working some company but we are student..

By the way, we are struggling on Rf side that kind project.

There is no online store, so you'll just have to contact them if you want to buy. But it is a bit expensive, so if you don't have a big budget, then that's probably not the way to go.

Are you using a different radar module? Or are you developing the radar from scratch?

Our professor and his team working with GPR system and they have lots of experience about that , but just specially uwb radar antenna side.They are trying on a new consept actually and want to add 2 or 3 side :

RF hardware design (i and 1 PhD ass.)
FPGA design members (we try to convincing 2 guy)

(and we don't know find image process concerned guys) (i am new member: GPR,UWB radar hardware develop side, actually i'm telecomm-RF sub system design a bit )

They have lots of old CW and pulse radar equipment and univesity lab. made design, some times we using Anritsu/Rhode-Sw.-Labview sinyal generator and modelled and generated some system but we wanna develop all system for academic research.

We didn't divide any money for uwb radar develop kit, because we have no idea it is existing. If we didn't hear that company probably We'll try to do very complication system, lots of chip, ADC, DSP, FPGA.....

How money that develop kit? >1k$ or less? and single(or less 5-10) chip can sell universty? and <100$ please give some information and advice.

I can't really give out any information on Novelda's products. I am under NDA. But if you contact them, you'll get an answer from them. I know they have had some cooperation with universities earlier..
