Hello,

I have an amplifier circuit in CMOS technology and I am doing a DC operating point analysis in Cadence.
I know the usage of calculator tool to see the operating point parameters of the mosfets.
However, I would like to see the (Vgs - Vth) , (Vds - Vdsat), ids, gm and gds displayed in a table for all mosfets in the amplifier.

Does anyone know a script for doing this at the end of the operating point simulation ??

Please let me know. Thanks.

Can't you use ADE's calculator? If not, you could transfer the o.p. data to an Excel sheet (or to MATLAB) and have the calculations done there.

Yes I know the use of calculator tool. However, if there are 50 transistors, I will have to browse each and every one of them to obtain the data needed.
How can I transfer the o.p. data for all transistors to an Excel sheet directly ?? What is the procedure if I want only certain parameters like vgs, vth etc....??

Try and find the file(s) which contain the o.p. data; their location is setup dependent, e.g. in
.../simulation/<simulation_test_bench>/spectre/schematic/psf/finalTimeOP.info

May be you have to tell SPECTRE to store output info in ASCII format in order to get readable info, see/type
spectre -help format
spectre -format psfascii

Also check these links:

I tried the procedure mentioned but cannot see the parameters ????

Of course you have to tell SPECTRE to write ASCII format output before the simulation. Did you?

And check that your setup doesn't change this back to the default!

If this doesn't help, try the given forum link option.
