Hi,
please help me to identify this chip. I checked the connections and it seems to be a VCO similar to the MC1648.
The marking is 043A XARZ the logo is engraved but lacks definition and I cant identify either.

Here is the photo (sorry for the quality)

Thanks in advance

I'd suggest it's a MC12034A which is a 2GHz prescaler and probably mounted very close to a VCO.
I have lots of '034A' devices just like the one pictured but with the Motorola logo on them. Newer devices than mine wll proably be branded 'on-semi'.

Brian.

betwixt.
You are entirely right. I was confused about the connections and what were I thought that were only varicaps there are at least one smd transistor.
I was wrong at the number too 043A instead of 034A it was good that you saw the photo.
Marked as helpful and closed
Many thanks
