How to reduce the leakage current in CMOS Analog Switch??

Hi

iam using TG(Transmission gate) for mux.Can any one help with how to reduce leakage current for TG??

leakage current can be reduced by stabilising the MOS there are other methods to just transfer the voltage to the ip and reduce current by connecting resistor to the op of the MOS

do post the tg schematic would be more helpful
 

"how to reduce leakage current for TG?" Are you talking leakage of signal or switching waveform? If its signal, then try and use another TG driven anti phase at the input of the existing one to short the input signal out (switch it to earth!!). if its the switching waveform just introduce a small amount in anti phase to cancel the leak through.

do clear us about where there is a signal loss we are unclear of the position of the loss
 

There's leakage and there's leakage.

A high voltage mux will have a lot of junction area and
depletion volume, and you can see substantial input-supply,
output-supply leakages. Using as little headroom voltage
as necessary will help this; so too will using a lower voltage
switch, so you will have smaller FETs.

A low on resistance switch also trades W and junction area,
hence leakage, to meet the Ron target. Using less than you
need to meet your settling time or series losses, brings you
more leakage than you need.

This is all more or less true for integrated implementations,
though there your choices are more limited about what to
do. You can still "right-size" your switch, play with W, L
and so on. You need to know your "values" that leakage
trades against, though, to do it meaningfully.
