Do you measure IIP3 for a upconversion mixer similarly as for a downconverter? All the examples I have found for measuring IIP3 are for downconverters. If you do measure them the same, then do you use a smaller tone difference? Such as for a 100MHz IF signal you would then input a 111MHz or 109MHz signal to measure II3? Thanks.

Upconversion mixer IP3 test is similar with downconversion mixer. The two-tone spaicing generally is defined by your system specification, and for an upconversion mixer usually is equal with the channel spacing. Be sure that the IM3 products falls in-band.
