I am working on a project in which I am using a dot matrix display board which can be controlled by another keypad circuit either using serial communication or wireless communication.Uptill now I was using RF1100-232Mhz transceiver module externally for wireless communication.
But now I am thinking to build my own circuit on board to replace RF module.
So please tell me MCUs with inbuilt wireless transmission capability or else give your suggestion.

thanks in advance
bye

Always mention your requirements, If you want to go for wireless communication, please specify do you need simple TX,RX using ASK or 802.15.4 or Zigbee. If you need 802.15.4 you can use Zigbit modules from Atmel.

There are at least single chip 2.4 GHz solutions from Atmel and TI and "smart" sub-GHz tranceivers with CPU from TI. Also "RFPIC" UHF transmitters.

ah.. thats new. gotta lay my hands on those. but on second thought , will stick with old school
Yes, there are many possible reasons to use transceiver chips with a microcontroller of your choice.

Then for this purpose you can use A434 RX/TX with encoder and decode. Hope that helps
