if i want to use the computer to pass some data to the dot matrix led display, which program software i should use at the computer is much better?

very vague question. that depends on the matrix display you are using. common communication protocols (if you are using a Uc in the matrix display ) like serial and USB can be used. you got to write special software for it, i'm afraid for your requirement.

if i want to use the usb to get the data, which software is better?

- - - Updated - - -

because i hope i can make a large dot matrix led display can be always updated,,,so i need to use the computer to control and write some new sentences to display on the dot matrix led display..
i would like to use usb to connect it,, but i feel very confused about it because i hv never done it before,,, and i dunno which software is suitable for me

and if i use this sofeware, how to control it><?

are you asking about which programming language?, in case of interface, serial ports are much more easier. you can use programs like Microsoft's visual studio or VB6 etc for developing your own programs. its got the library already included in it. in the case of USB, you have a lot of work to do.

where can i find some free vision of these two of software,
and which one is better?
visual basic or visual studio?
which version should i use?
can i use c language on it??

im afraid you have to buy it. VB6 is the programming language its advanced (III generation) and the visual studio is IDE, integrated development environment.

here's a link

yeah... its easy. if you want C, its also compatible with C, (i.e C#) and also down load the MSDN help file with it too. its like a cocktail of software integrated in to one.

if i want to use it to connect with usb to the dot matrix led display,,,
what should i set ,, or i need to write a program to run the usb?
