Interfacing Speaker with Atmega16

Hola! I am trying to interface a speaker (one which i salvaged from the cordless telephone). On connecting a multi meter across the speaker, it is giving a reading of 195.2 ohms. My main objective is to produce a beep sound or similar sound from the speaker. Please suggest me the circuit to connect the speaker to a port of the micro controller (Atmega16).

Thanks in advance.

Re: Interfacing Speaker with Atmega16

to produce beep sound u need not to connect a speekr
a piezo electric buzzer is enough to produce it
u can connect it through a transistor like BC547
