IR Communication using MCP2122 Encoder/Decoder chip

Hi,
Thank you, for your reply. I already have the required data sheets can you please tell how to decode the data on RX pin. I mean shout read it bit by bit or just the USART data register.
 

which controller r u using to read the data
 

I suggest you read up on the UART/decoder chip you are using
for example, the PIC24fj256GB110 has a "On-chip hardware encoder/decoder for IrDA"
see section 17.7 of

I tend to use Microchip's high level libraries to talk via IrDA (e.g. using OBEX object exchange protocol)
