Hi, I need to test an IGBT driver for an INFINEON FF100R12RT4

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT LOAD TO PLACE ON THE DRIVER OUTPUT (gate signal ) TO ENSURE THAT THE DRIVER CIRCUIT IS OK BEFORE I INSTALL THE NEW IGBT

Hi,you only need to disconnect the output of driver and check the outgoing signal with oscilloscope. If the signal is present then it is all okay. The signal should be 1v pp at least.Regards

Gate theshhold voltage is around 6V, maximum +-20V and recomended gate voltage is 12-15 volts. So driver shold supply 12 to 15 volt pulse. If it is used at high frequency, it must also be capable of supplying 3-4 amperes to the load.
