Some of you may be interested in the lecture notes I have posted to my website. I teach a short course on finite-difference frequency-domain which includes codes, a semester long course on finite-difference time-domain, and another semester long course on computational electromagnetics. The CEM class includes detailed descriptions of: (1) transfer matrix method, (2) scattering matrices, (3) perfectly matched layers, (4) finite-difference frequency-domain, (5) finite-difference time-domain, (6) beam propagation method, (7) plane wave expansion method, (8) rigorous coupled-wave analysis, (9) method of lines, (10) slice absorption method, (11) finite element method, (12) method of moments, and (13) various optimization algorithms including genetic algorithms and particle swarm optimization.

You can get to these from my website:

I welcome any feedback, corrections, etc.!

Thanks for your sharing. I am studying FDFD method for electromagnetic simulation, but I still have problem in slice absorption method. I had readied your paper: Rigorous electromagnetic analysis of volumetrically complex media using the slice absorption method, but I still don't understand in fully. Could your send me source code about slice absorption method in FDFD ? Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,
KFLin

I am working on making a version of that available. Sorry for the wait!!
