Hello!!! Everyone....

Few Days back i started using Microchip USB Firmware Framework, and the strange thing i found is that it is not working with Proteus..
and my Proteus Halts after few seconds, the snap of which is attached below..

USB_Analyser.PNG

While when i load the Pre-Compiled Hex File it works with Proteus..

Now you may think my code is wrong..
But thats not the case because my COde is working with real hardware properly..

Can any one tell me why this is happening.. I am using MPLAB C18 v3.40 Compiler

Post your code and proteus .dsn file.

Maybe you are using 20Mhz oscillator ... it guess that Proteus CAN'T support such high frequency for real time simulation of your code ....
try to test your code in a real circuit.

my regards, Fermat

I get the same problem in several projects when simulating em in Proteus .... so i decided to not use it any more!
any way , solutions and suggestions are needed in that problem

my best regards
Fermat

Thanks for your reply...

Actually the problem i am facing was very strange at that time..

When i put the precompiled code that comes with Microchip Application Libraries it works in proteus,
and when i open the same code in MPLAB and build it.
and then put that hex file in proteus simulation it did work..
I was very confused at time..

Similar the case when i edited the application library code it didn't work on proteus and when i put it in real hardware it works :)

I don't bother regarding proteus after it is a software.

What i conclude after having this experience is that..
I am using MPLAB C18 compiler in Lite Mode thats why it is not working in proteus and if i will use purchased version it will work in proteus, as the code given by micochip is working properly in proteus.

No dear...

The same code is working in real hardware..

And not in proteus.

I think u are a mikroC user and the HID code of mikroC works perfectly in proteus.
