Hi
May I know how frequent eda software update release generally?
Once a year? Twice yearly etc?
Altium, cadence, MG, zuken, etc.
Tq!

Yes noticed that later. Currently been evaluating Altium for nefarious reasons. You get a lot for your money, though I find the routing a bit old school, and the Signal Integrity basic, but for a lot of designs I have seen it will do the job. AS to having all that info in your libraries, I prefer neat libraries with only relevant info, the rest I would rather download as required, but that is just personal preference.

Altium has been doing on average one platform update a month for the last while now... it's actually really good you can suggest an new feature or upgrade to an existing one and they'll put it to vote. Lots have gotten through and been implimented.
