Hi guys, my Logik L22DVDB10 Combi TV is only showing a black screen with a blue box with a few lines from the top all out of focus (see photo).

**broken link removed**

I know the blue box area is the setup menu, etc... since the TV is not connected to an aerial but what could the cause be? The LCD display or the inverter?

Could the inverter be on the circuit board B.SPC58B - 9247? A common board used in many TV's I believe. I have checked for any caps bulging or coloured but found none.

LCD's work by sequential pixel addressing and the video signal is stored as a voltage charge level, like analog memory.

Your display does not seem to work on any pixel, so I would say the pixel clock recovery stopped addressing rows and columns and you are simply looking at a dead display with flat line patterns dependant on leakage.

so anything related to pixel clock , row column multiplexor.. is not working.

Thank you for your reply SunnySkyguy.

So it's the screen it's self that has died?
