Hi . I am trying to simulate GSM module in proteus using PIC18F4550.
Can anyone help me in this as i dont want to attach any gsm module /mobile phone to the physical serial port. I just want to simulate it in software form in PC without any external hardware.
Is there any possible way of doing that???

yes there is .... buy the lincensed version of proteus and then install the component library from their database and then use your component

I have a licensed version but i dont know how to download the component library??
can you kindly help me in downloading the component library
Thankx

I don't know if proteus(version 7.2) have gsm module in their library . You have to connect it to the physical serial port of the PC using MAX232 IC. You can connect your PIC to a serial port model in proteus which allows you to communicate with the device on physical serial port of PC.
