Hello guys,

I am currently converting a couple of 28" bikes into ebikes.

I don't have too much experience with electronics, but I have a bit of soldering experience and it's not going to be too complicated.

The ebike will be powered by 2 5s 5Ah Zippy LiPo packs connected as 10s, with another two 5s packs connected at times as a range extension in parallel to the other 2.

Besides powering the bikes motor, I would like to use the batteries to charge my phone, other USB devices and use it for the bike's light.

What I would like to build is
a little box that

- has a male XT60 socket on the bottom
- undervoltage protection for the LiPo packs with an alarm sound or a LED
- on the side a switch for the power supply and the undervoltage protection
- on the top I would like to have 2 USB sockets for the phone etc.

Would any those be suitable?

Turnigy 5A (8-40v) SBEC for Lipo

Turnigy HV SBEC 5A Switch Regulator (8-42V input)

TURNIGY 5-7.5A (8~42v) HV UBEC for Lipoly

Or would it make more sense to use the 5s packs separately for the USB connectors and use 2 of these:

TURNIGY 3A UBEC w/ Noise Reduction (DE Warehouse)

What would you suggest I use for a housing for everything?
What components should I use?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, guys
