tqfp footprint

can any body tell me where i can find TQFP footprint for orcad 9.2 library

orcad tqfp

Hi,
If you look at the page:

https://www.topline.tv/TQFP.html ( https://www.topline.tv/Drawings/PDF/QFP/TQFP_Library.pdf )

They have a document that describes all the TQFP components. And if you are in OrCad Layout, take a look at the library Quad and you will find all the components (almost) in that library.

There are components with 0.025" and 0.05" pitch, as well as 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.65mm and 0.1mm

Please let me know if you need anything other than those,

Best regards,
/Farhad

Only if you are a registered user....the library from cadence site are "for the customers " ...not for all people who download a free version of cadence
you can try www.ti.com .....search the package you need , texas provide and the footprints for his components

you can look at h**p://www.pcblibraries.com/ - they have IPC-7351 LP Wizard. Their demo contains many footprints.

but not for orcad
https://www.pcblibraries.com/resources/7351.asp
...... PCBL's IPC-7351 LP Viewer 9,390kb PCBL Libraries' IPC-7351 LP Viewer with QFP Wizard for PADS!

Does it really matter for you - orcad or pads? they have footprints, you can see all dimensions inside the calculator - it will take a few minutes to make a footprint inside your orcad with these data...

alex840...read what the author of this topic need ....if you don't know....we can't use or convert pads lib in orcad lib...as you can see farhada give us a link where we ca find informations of this type of package....but Munib need a orcad library (.llb)(or the path from his lib) for LQFP package
and because is not so easy to make the footprint in orcad I understand Munib whay he don't want to make this and prefer to take a one already tested :)

Sergiu_Q, my experience shows, that the only way to get a "right" footprint is to draw it myself. Footprints are technology-dependant and it is useless to hope that somebody knows your requirements. I can say also, that to make a new footprint even with orcad will take less time than to find it on the net - imho.
