Hello all.

Does anyone knows about a functional proven method for calculating the coeficients of a second order continous time delta sigma modulator?

I've already tried the Delta Sigma toolbox, but it didn't do me no good, because i don't know how to apply the discrete time coefficients it gave me, in continuous time.

Help, please...

The methods is discussed in SD literature, e.g chapter 4 of Delta-Sigma Data Converters - Theory, Design and Simulation by Schreier et al.

You can refer to impulse-invariant transformation from s to z domain, in this case choose the CT parameters to get the same impulse response as the calculated DT modulator at sampling times.

Thanks for your reply FvM.

Isn't there any way to do that with the delta sigma toolbox? I only need to know the value of the coeficients so that i can properly size the resistors and capacitors on my circuit. I've been having a really hard time on finding information about this matter, continuous time delta sigma modulators that is.
