Bluebox Interfacing

Hi everybody.
My system is based on the ST20 Risc and has this features:
1- GPS computing
2- Cell phone link (CDMA/TDMA/GSM) with Voice (Hands-Free), Datalink and SMS
3- CAN Interface
4- 915 MHz RF link using Micrel MICRF500
5- All other I/O stuff being basically 8 In and 6 out for 24V/9A

Basically goes on vehicles, gathering gps, allowing blocking and other stuff from the net.
Through the RF link i can attach to the system any pheripheral, being a keypad the default,
but i have interfaces for laptop, palm or other stuff.
As the link is custom, each app needs custom stuff, but as the interface is basically RS232,
no big deal to make all work fine.

I would like to bypass this RF link and go straight to Bluebox. But to implement a single keyboard,
would it justify the parts required?
On my keypad i use only the MICRF500 and a PIC 627, with lots of space aviable.
Another example is on toll payment, the RF links a computer, so when car passes fence,
ID is sent so to charge users card...
Same works for MacDonnalds on drive through...

Any sugestions? Is bluebox too heavy and slow for this?

Thanx

Sounds great!

did you make it product?
can you share its Spec?
