[SOLVED] Find the mode of operation of 2 NMOS mosfets in series

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, it is my first post :)

anyways back to the question, actually heres a picture of the problem.

i calculated unCoxW/L for Q1 to be 960uA/V2 and unCoxW/L for Q2 to be 240uA/V2

now im having trouble/forgot how to find the mode of operation for when there are two in series. i was thinking that for Q1, Vdrain= 1.5v Vsource= 0V and Vgate = 1.5v

but then again i could be completely wrong, i just need help with finding which mode it is in.

Both the transistors are in the saturation region as in both cases Vgs> Vt and Vgs=Vds. Value of resistance is 12.5 K
Here you can use simple Ohm's law. V=IR Voltage across resistance is 5.0-3.5= 1.5V I=120uA Hence R=12.5K
 
Ok thats what i thought it was initially, and i guess it is in saturation since the gate and drain are tied together.
