We have learned that when current flows through a wire a magnetic field is produced around it. Similarly a magnetic field cutting a conductor can induce voltage. The same principle applies to antenna where electromagnetic fields interact with the antenna so that voltage induces into antenna.

The question arise here, for electromagnetic induction there must be a close path so that when voltage induces, current will flow. But we have seen that in FM radio receivers only one wire is attached to the antenna. So how voltage is induces into antenna and how current flows without a close path?
