Hi Narmu,

I was working on similar project for company you can get Hammastu Color sensor and then interfaced it with micro-controller and then to PC that will give you RGB value of the Color the sensor I was using was S9706.... this sensor have intensity control too....I know there is LED comes with RGB color together also you can use three different color LED's ........ but my suggestion is generate these color from you computer with different color such that you will have better control.....

with regards,

Milind

Thnx a lot milind... which is the microcontroller that are using? Are you working on colorimeter project? Actually, I need lots of papers to do literature survey. I tried to find but cuddun't get much papers as possible...If you have any, can you post it? Thankyou!!!

There was no paper as such we refereed while doing the this project..... I used simple 8051 for this work as we need to fetch only 12 bit x 9 color sensor x 3 color of data per reading so I do not go for any high end micro-controller and the speed of sampling also was very small.....the problem with the data that we got need to be calibrated with standard calorimeter and that was the challenge ......also after some time we realise that the data is not that consistence and very with condition of illumination around it .....also we envased that we need optics design for this .... thus we dropped this project for long run....given a chance I will like to do it.....but not the highest priority.....

With regards,

Milind

Thanks for your help. But, I just need a basic idea about it. Can you just brief your work.. I just need to know the Block diagrams that you used, then with 3 i.e., RGB colors how did you manage to get the entire absorption spectrum of it? Which kind of switching circuit that used to generate multi-colors. All these things are confusing me. If you can give me an overall idea about it, then please. I require your help.
