I have made a dipole antenna, and I drove the two differential input ports with the waveport in differential driven terminal mode.
The simulation went well, but when I plot the far field, it was found that the field is actually the single input field, not with differential input.
I tried both simulation mode: driven model and driven differential terminals, and the results are more interesting: for driven model, there are many modes for the input port, but hfss only displays the far field with first mode; for the driven terminal, it only displays far field with only one input port.
could anyone tell me how to generate the far field plot with the differential antenna input? I am using hfss v11.
Thanks!
I solve the problem by editing the source:)
