74ls240, how to enable all outputs permanently? where should I connect 1G and 2G ?
 


Looks like a mistake in that datasheet (bad Motorola!). Check the truth table on the following page though - it tells the truth.

The '240 has both active low enables.

Also check TI's - it is correct:

Ok so I will tie them both to GND, to make the chip always enabled!
