DFT by using Cadence RTL COMPILER

HI,
Can any one help me how to define test_mode ,shift_enable,scan_chain in cadence rtl compiler ..................there are so may options are their for every command, which option i want to use i am not getting so plz can u help
with thanks

use define_dft followed by the signals type u wanna define. For more info on the switches search the rc command reference from cadence site.
 

Test_mode need to be used to place the chip in scan mode.
Shift_scan_shift will define the net/pad which be used to define to toggle between shift and capture.
Scan_chain will be used to define the different scan chains.
