Hi,

I have been working with AVRs lately but now i am working on a project that needs more computing power .
so i decided to buy an ARM cortex M3 processor , mostly an STM32 F2 family processor .

now is there an open source programmer for this family ??
i used USBasp to program AVRs . is there anything like this for this family ? or any other cortex M3 families ??

thanks .

Check out cool components.
They do a few ARM-JTAG Programmer/Debugger with open source software for reasonable cost .

The problem is that both links are UK .
well, I would have problems with any other (buy online) links .

i can not buy any of these online due to complications with shipping and customs etc . it aint that easy in here.
also it wouldnt be low cost after changing currency .

thats why i need something that is completely open source, something i can make by myself
sorry for trouble .

"In here" is where :)
in my Messy Corner it is not a problem to obtain such things, here are some companies that can import parts, for a percentage (20%), of course.
The reason why I mentioned Discovery board is that the board with a lot of addons on itself is cheaper than uC. If you are developing a product, that may be good choice, as well as if you are learning how to use the particular uC.

Anyway Farnell has warehouses in more than one country worldwide, i suppose.

FYI for a "toy" I've payed ~$25, a friend brought 20 "toys" for some of us without any commission.
