hello friends
I am trying to simulate plane Electromagnetic wave received at receiver. The objective of this simulation is to understand about Statistical properties of resultant electric field strength in multi-path environment. I am wondering how to implement given electric field expression in matlab. I am on learning curve in implementing plane waves in MATLAB. So your suggestions will really be helpful for my learning.

How to implement this plane wave in matlab?

Given Resultant electric field expression:
E1(x,y)=1.0*exp(-j(x*cos(169) + y*sin(169)))*(exp(j311));

I like to simulate resultant of eight electric field. Also simulating its amplitude, and phase as well.

I hope I am clear in presenting my questions?
