..seimens mc35i based modm from china interface with 8051 for light control system...

...hi everyone...
i'm currently working on my final year project. it is timed-based lighting control system... i have this seimens mc35i terminal based modem from china and i already test it with hyperterminal and it can read and receive sms message ... i have also a code for the sending at commands and it also works in hyperterminal.. The problem now is that when i interface the two the modem nothings happens.. i use a TTL converter and rs232 in serial com... can someone help me troubleshoot this... i have this feeling that there is something lacking in my code... can i have some of your codes for at commands please.. ..or any suggestions ..
 

Monitor the code with Hyperterminal (RX line only)
 

Post your full circuit diagram..

Did you swapped the tx and rx lines of modem while connecting with micro?
