Hi all,

I am a newbie to C and Embedded systems, and learning by myself. Thanks to fellow members whose suggestions and tips are quite helpful in learning.

Now, when talking to a friend recently, happened to get into a discussion about a resource monitoring system for an organization.. say, recording the day to day activities of an employee, like check-in, check-out time, etc. I was asked how to achieve as an embedded system, using C.

I couldn't get a picture of where to start.. Friends please help me..

Thanks in advance..

Ashik.

I would start to learn about relational databases. Quite a large subject in its own right.

A lot of commercial software uses a relational database management system (RDBMS) as the foundation for their programs.
