Hi All,

I would like to design a Lead Acid Battery charger which works from Mains(230V). Kindly support me.

Specifications are:

Input Voltage :230VAC

Battery Voltage : 24V.

Battery Capacity : 45AH

I think the charging current should be 1/10 th of battery capacity. So the charging current is 5A or 6A.

I would like to charge the battery in 3 Stages( Bulk,Absorption,Float)

Can anyone help me to design this charger with all protection circuits??

How to control the current once the battery is getting charged??
