Atari 8 bit, SD card and turbo 2000

It is a device for everyone who likes old tape recorders such as XC12. After inserting KSO turbo 2000 it works properly, but you can also replace the casette playback with the memory card read.



It is a well-known tape recorder from Elm Chan website LINK combined with Turbo 2000 on the system 4096. The system connects to Atari only through the second port of the joystick. It reads games in the wav and turbo 2000 format. Those files can be easily prepared using Turgen system program **broken link removed**.

How it works – you will need:
  • scheme:


  • Atari
  • Cardridge with KSO turbo 2000 or its equivalent with loaded software for turbo 2000 (SIC cart, SIDE, Atarimax flash cardridge)

Connect the interface to the second port of joystick and upload just like from a tape recorder. Microswitch is used to move to the next file.
This system was mounted on a piece of universal board. Circuit board was also made.



All the necessary files (scheme, PCB, parts list, etc in the attachment on the original thread).
